Meet The Face Behind Esthetics Evolved

I’m Elizabeth McGowan, the proud owner of Esthetics Evolved, in beautiful Langford, British Columbia.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope as you read my story, that you enjoy getting to know me better.

I began learning the art of esthetics in Calgary in 1987. I took to it naturally. It was instinctive, and I immediately knew this was my calling and what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

The following year I shifted to Vancouver, where I continued to enhance my professional acumen and work as a solo esthetician. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to my clients’ stories while making them feel rejuvenated with every treatment and experience we shared.

Ten years later, I moved to Vancouver Island, and I soon realized that there was a need for my experience, knowledge and expertise within my local community. I decided to set up and run two spas which proved highly successful.

Eventually, trends and technologies began to change, I enjoyed the stimulation of this new knowledge and I wanted to share everything I was learning with my clients. I was inspired for my clients, and this inspiration pushed me a year ago to launch Esthetics Evolved, a new relevant esthetics spa in Victoria, BC.

As the name implies, services have evolved to suit my client’s needs. I want all my clients to feel pampered, unique, and special as soon as they walk through my doors. So, whether I’m artfully brow tinting or providing a full body waxing, I pay close attention to my clients’ mood, needs, and the detail of their service.

I’m a kind and friendly individual, I believe what sets me apart is my commitment to happily rendering a consistent service. I add value by listening to my clients and remaining flexible, and even shifting based on their needs mid service is how I work. I am devoted to catering to my clients’ needs as their time with me evolves. I’m only satisfied when they are smiling.

I immensely enjoy the interaction with my clients, and it’s so very rewarding for me to read a client’s positive reviews and by extension receive new referrals through kind positive word of mouth.

When I’m not carrying out a custom facial or pedicure, I try to stay current with my profession while improving my health and fitness and prioritizing family time. If I’m balanced, my clients will relax.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence my business.
